Stellate River Hawk is a big dragonfly rarely seen in villages or human settlements. Its scientific name is Onychothemis testacea. Its green eyes, and black and yellow colored body helps to easily identify it.

Their wings are transparent and wing spots are black. These dragonflies are very good in flight and usually rest on twigs.
