Common Quaker Butterfly also known as The Quaker has off-white colored under side and brown colored upper side. The butterfly is small and belongs to the Lycaenidae family.

The host plant is Glycosmis pentaphylla or other plants from Rutaceae family. The egg is white in color. The when emerged, the larvae is green in color and later becomes darker. The butterfly usually hatches in around 2 days after laying eggs.
It is a common butterfly species in Kerala and Western ghats region.
Looks very similar to Malayan butterfly, but the markings differ, especially on the under fore wing. Malayan has for costal spots on under fore wing, which makes both of them easy to differentiate.
